McDonald's April Fool's Day prank backfires leaving fans furious

Everyone knows that you can't believe anything you hear or read on April Fool's Day, as there's always a risk it could be a wind up. But McDonald's has managed to spark fury with its 2023 prank, with some saying the fast food chain went too far.

The Australian announced a new menu item yesterday - the McFry - causing a huge amount of excitement among fans.

The convincing picture showed a beef patty burger with fries stuffed inside, so you don't have to do it yourself.
