McDonald’s has announced an addition to its breakfast menu alongside its festive menu coming out Wednesday, November 23, 2022.
The Mighty McMuffin will be available, which will include sausage, egg, bacon and cheese with either ketchup or brown sauce.
Currently McDonald’s breakfast options include muffins with either bacon and egg, sausage and egg or a double option for both.
The new addition will essentially be a super-sized McMuffin with all the fillings and will be priced at £3.99 on its own or £5.59 for a meal.
The epic-sized breakfast addition will only be available for a limited amount of time therefore early risers will need to be quick.
McDonald’s festive menu
Alongside the Mighty McMuffin, McDonald’s festive menu is back to help bring in the Christmas spirit early.
The popular festive menu will include returning favourites such as the Big Tasty burger. Another firm favourite available again is the sweet treat Celebrations McFlurry.
In addition, the Festive Pie makes a return. The hot crispy pie is filled with mincemeat and custard, and priced at £1.29. The McDonald’s festive menu will run for six weeks until January 4.
McDonald’s all-day breakfast
McDonald’s serves breakfast every day until 11am but began offering the lunchtime menu at the earlier time of 10.30am. This was due to bosses adding an extra 30 minutes to the breakfast offering two years ago.
There were previous rumours that McDonald’s would implement an all-day breakfast in the UK. The rumours emerged on September 2 when a screenshot went viral on Twitter claiming that McDonald’s was going to start serving all-day breakfast in October.
“Let There Be Breakfast: McDonald’s Serving All Day Breakfast Starting Oct 6,” the caption read, and the photo was quickly shared around British social media users.
McDonald’s dismissed these rumours saying that there were “no plans to bring it to the UK at the moment”, adding that the picture in question was in fact an old US press release.
