It has been announced that the day of Queen Elizabeth II's funeral will be a public bank holiday. This has meant that many shops and businesses will be closing.
The bank holiday will take place on Monday, September 19, and designer outlet shopping centre McArthur Glen in Bridgend has announced it will be closing. They are "joining the nation in mourning." You can keep up to date with the latest What's On news by signing up to the newsletter here.
A statement from McArthur Glen designer outlet said: "Following the sad news that Queen Elizabeth II has passed away, we are joining the nation in mourning as we close our UK centre on Monday, September 19th, the day of Her Majesty's funeral. The Bridgend Centre will resume normal trading hours on Tuesday, September 20th."

McArthur Glen will join many stores and businesses in closing as supermarkets have altered their opening hours, cinemas and fast food chains will shut and even hospital appointments have been cancelled. You can read more about the big brands closing on Monday (September 19) here.
Budget supermarket Aldi is closing their stores on Monday, September, 19. The store announced on its social media: "As a mark of respect, all Aldi stores across the UK will close on Monday 19th September to allow our store colleagues to pay tribute to Her Majesty The Queen."
Morrisons and Lidl have announced a total closure of all their stores on Monday, September 19. Their petrol stations will reopen at 5pm. Asda is closing its stores until 5pm on Monday, September 19 to "allow our customers and colleagues to recognise the passing of our late Monarch and commemorate her steadfast service to our nation".
Tesco will close all their large stores on Monday, September 19 and their smaller Express stores will open from 5pm to 10pm. Marks and Spencer will close their stores on Monday, September 19 with some London stores remaining open until 10.30am.
