Developer claimed he was 'Godfather' of Liberal faction

A fugitive property developer at the centre of a probe into corruption in a hard-right Liberal Party faction has finally faced the inquiry from overseas.

Jean Nassif, the former director of collapsed Sydney company Toplace, gave evidence via videolink from his home in Beirut to a NSW Independent Commissioner Against Corruption hearing on Monday.
