Mayo are already assured of their place in the last 12 of the All-Ireland series, but they can book their place in the quarter-finals with a win over Cork this afternoon.
Top spot and an automatic quarter-final berth is within touching distance of Kevin McStay’s side after back-to-back wins over Kerry and Louth in Group One.
Cork are in a strong position to secure a place in next weekend’s preliminary quarter-finals after their opening round win over Louth.
The Rebels will progress even if they lose to Mayo provided Mickey Harte’s Louth don’t cause a huge upset against Kerry in Portlaoise.
Cork could still top the group if they defeat Mayo and Kerry fail to beat Louth this afternoon.
