Mayo star Pádraig O'Hora gives hilarious reason for not watching GAA

Pádraig O'Hora has hilariously revealed that he doesn't watch GAA or any other sports in his spare time.

The Mayo star, who has a reputation for being one of the toughest markers in the game, sensationally revealed that he hasn't watched any of the GAA Championship this year.

"I love playing sports," He told the Smaller Fish podcast.

"I'm a doer. I'm kinaesthetic you know."

"But I don't really sit down idle and watch sports no."

"I wouldn't have watched any of the Championship so far this year really."

When asked by presenter Colm Parkinson whether he finds studying opposition akin to doing homework, O'Hora agreed.

"I just don't do it like.

"It's football."

"I take every game as it comes, every training session as it comes, I might have a different approach to one game as to another."

And when pressed on whether he does this because he is afraid of bigging up the opposition in his own head, O'Hora's response was hilarious.

"I don't really overthink it too much at all. I wouldn't be a big fan of overthinking."

"Wouldn't be a big fan of thinking or overthinking."

It's hard to believe that one of the best markers in the game would go into a match having not forensically examined the man he is going to mark's strengths and weaknesses. However, it works for O'Hora and perhaps justifies Pat Spillane's infamous rant all those years ago on "Paralysis by analysis."
