A controversial incident occurred during Ballina Stephenites game against Claremorris this afternoon, when Mayo GAA star Padraig O'Hora appeared to have his hair pulled.
The incident occurred around the 15 minute mark of the game. During the passage of play, the Claremorris goalkeeper has been dispossessed by O'Hora about 20 metres from goal.
As can be seen in the below video, when O'Hora tries to slip in his teammate, a member of the Claremorris team appears to grab a hold of his ponytail and allegedly pulls the Mayo man to the ground.
Despite getting a handpass off to his teammate who had an empty goal at his mercy, the referee blew for a foul.
The player who appears to have grabbed O'Hora's ponytail wasn't carded.
The incident had no effect on the scoreline, with Ballina winning at a canter by 4-13 to 0-07 to secure their place in the Mayo Championship semi-final.
