Paul Mescal's local pub is offering the actor free pints ahead of his return to Ireland this week.
The Kildare native, who is in with a chance of winning Best Actor at this year's Oscars, will attend the premiere of 'God Creatures' in Dublin this Thursday. The star will also join Ryan Tubridy on the Late Late Show sofa to discuss the Oscar nomination for his role in 'Aftersun.'
Manager of The Roost James Bohan said he last saw the actor at his pub following lockdown. He told the Irish Mirror that Paul was always welcome to tuck into lunch and a pint on their premises, free of charge.

James said: "It would be on the house. He’s always invited in for lunch and a pint."
The pub will be honouring Paul's Oscar nomination on the awards weekend with a red carpet event. The night out will feature cardboard cut-outs of Oscar figures, as well as live music.
James explained: "Getting nominated for an Oscar is a huge achievement. That's why we wanted to dedicate the weekend to him- if it was a sports team, there would be huge hype around it."
Crucially, the pub will organise an afterparty if Paul clinches the Best Actor trophy. James has even planned a competition to get people in the celebratory mood.
One lucky punter will get the opportunity to arrive to The Roost in style on the Oscar's night. The winner will get picked up in a hummer, before being brought to the pub for the big bash.
