How can God die? A quest to find an answer to this intriguing question lead author Meghnad Desai to not only read up on various versions of the Mahabharata over the years, but also to pen his latest novel 'Mayabharata: The Untold Story Behind the Death of Lord Krishna'. The new book, published by Rupa & Co, was launched at an event hosted by the Prabha Khaitan Foundation in New Delhi on September 11, 2022.
The book was launched in the presence of Bibek Debroy-- an Indian economist, Chairman of Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister of India, and an author. The formal unveiling of the book was followed by an interesting discussion about 'Mayabharata' between Desai-- Indian economist, author, and a life peer at the British House of Lords, and Apra Kuchhal-- Honorary Convenor of Rajasthan & Central India Affairs, Ehsas Woman of Jaipur.
