Last night saw the start of Aftersun, Love Island’s weekly debrief show, starring new host Maya Jama, podcast hosts Sam Thompson and Indiyah Polack along with other celebrity guests. The show takes a deep dive into what Love Island viewers have been watching throughout the week, touching on all the action, drama and gossip.
But the hottest topic on viewers' lips is how good Maya was looking yet again. Wearing a pink slinky long dress showing off her toned stomach and slender body. It’s not the first time Maya has wowed with her outfit this series, with her outfits on the first episode had people taking to Twitter asking for her to win or even become a contestant.
And it’s only the beginning of week two.

Maya has taken over from Laura Whitmore this year and the response to the change has been positive. The Bristolian has been a life-long fan of the show, saying when she got the position last year she was 'so excited to be hosting one of the nation’s favourite shows'.

Viewers feel that her presenting style has brought a breath of fresh air to the show. @beautifulnerdme highlighted this fact saying: “Maya Jama’s killing it on #loveisland #Aftersun. She understands all the black pop culture references and lingo that the producers would force previous hosts to use. The authenticity really goes a long way. Made for this I fear.”
While @eds_afterglow said: “The best addition to Love Island since Caroline Flack, no disrespect to Laura but Maya Jama is a natural at it and Aftersun feels more lively again, it needed the revamp- #loveisland #loveislandaftersun.”
Maya really did look like she was in her element last night, making easy conversations with Sam and Indiyah as well as dumper islander David. Fans of the after show took to Twitter to share their feelings on the first episode.
@carayxz said: “Aftersun is immediately so much more fun with Maya Jama hosting,” her view was shared with @heart_rahul saying: “Loving this panel. Maya Jama, Indiyah and Sam Thompson are so honest, I love it.”
It seems the fans are loving the fresh look the show has been given and can’t wait to see more.
