TV presenter Maya Jama has hit back at an Instagram follower this week after they made a comment on her appearance.
The Bristol-born star shared a snap of her look on her Instagram page from the Prince's Trust Gala in New York City on Thursday night (April 28). Maya, 27, is shown in a floor-length cut-out dress that starts as black and flows to a grey and white gradient at the hem.
The caption of the picture read: "Got my glad rags on last night at the Princes Trust Gala [sic] thanking whoever invented tit tape for the strength."

But one person took to the comments section that appeared to make an assumption on how Maya views herself in the picture. Commenting below the Instagram post, the commenter said: "Fit but you know it."
Maya hit back and responded: "My bad forgot I'm supposed to not like myself."
The Instagram user explained the comment was meant to be a compliment rather than an offence, explaining the words came from a song of the same name by The Streets.
Hundreds of people flooded the comments section below her post to praise the star for her stunning look ahead of the New York event, which was attended by Kate Moss, Lily James and Bridgerton's Phoebe Dynevor. The latter two stars were later spotted on Maya's Instagram stories at the event that night.
And many notable faces spread the love for Maya's look on her post, including Loose Women's Judi Love.
The former Strictly contestant said: "Lorddddd have mercy!! This is just another level of [fire emoji]."
Both supermodel Jourdan Dunn and chatshow host Alan Carr were also spotted in the comment's section showing their appreciation. Fans of the presenter showered her with praise saying she looked "sensational" and "unreal".
