Maya Jama 'breaks internet' with daring look as she shares first message since ITV Love Island debut

She may not be one of the contestants on Love Island but Maya Jama is proving to be the ultimate bombshell as she stuns her fans with her fresh looks. The 28-year-old was announced as the new host of the hit ITV2 dating show back in October after Laura Whitmore announced her decision to leave after the conclusion of the 2022 summer series.

She cited 'flying back and forth' between the UK and South Africa and 'new conflicting projects.' Laura also shared a sweet message to her friend Caroline, who tragically took her own life in February 2020, aged 40.

But on Monday, as the second-ever winter series kicked off, Maya made her debut. The TV and radio star, who is a self-confessed fan of the show, performed the show's famous slow-motion entrance in a red two-piece crochet outfit. She also later suggested she has faced difficulties in her past relationships during the launch show.

Since then, in her first message since being flooded with messages about her new role on the show, Maya showed off one of her looks from the South African villa and shared a heartfelt thanks to viewers.

Posting a string of images to Instagram, Maya looked sensational in a black tight-fitted dress that showed off her incredible figure. She showed off her holiday glow as the outfit boasted a slit going down her leg and featured plenty of cutouts. Meanwhile, her luscious dark locks had been pushed away from her face and cascaded down her back in waves.

"Overwhelmed from last night, thankyou so much for your kind words.." she posted alongside the stunning images and video of her first Love Island entrance. She then asked: "Who’s ready for tonight’s episode?"

Popular YouTuber and presenter Amelia Dimoldenberg was among the first to respond, writing: "You were amazing, a natural! The main reason I’m watching." Little Mix star Leigh-Ann Pinnock said: "Actual vision." Molly-Mae Hague, who appeared on the show in 2019, replied; "Incredible," alongside a hot face emoji.

i-D's global editorial director Olivia Singer said: "You already won 2023." Model Abbey Clancy posted: "The ultimate babe." Actor and Strictly star Will Mellor praised: "You looked amazing!! You are perfect for this show!" Former radio star-turned-actress Jameela Jamil added: "Broke the internet. Broke the world."

And fans were also wasting no time in sending their compliments. @guliemc said: "Unfair for you to be hotter than the islanders." @queen_amzi commented: "I thought you was the bombshell for a sec, Maya give the contestants a chance sis." @emmalpain21 posted: "Unreal my absolutely girl crush." @wozldn added: "Congratulations! The nations favourite host . Killing the game geeze."
