Maya Henry's belongings are still at Liam Payne's house as pal says split is 'blow'

Maya Henry's pals have slammed suggestions she and Liam split a month ago and say that he has shown her 'zero respect'.

The 21-year-old model's friends are said to have rallied around her following her break up with the former One Direction star.

A source close to Maya told The Mirror reports about them splitting a month ago is "complete rubbish".

"Her friends are all rallying round her," they said.

“Press reports about them splitting up over a month ago are complete rubbish. All of her stuff is at his house still and her car!”

“This is such a blow for Maya, she’s making arrangements to get her belongings out of his house so she can move on and forget they were ever together”.

“To say you never know someone is understatement. They were engaged and he has shown her zero respect.

"She’s now thinking about her next steps and building a new life without Liam.”.

It was reported the pair decided to go their separate ways last month after they had previously called off their engagement in June 2021.

Confirmation of their split came after photos of Liam with his arms wrapped around American model Aliana Mawla, 24, surfaced on a fan Instagram account on Monday.

After the images emerged, the model wrote: "I love all of the fans so much but please stop sending me these pictures of my fiancé wrapped around another woman.

"This is not me and it’s hard enough knowing this has happened without seeing it. Enough now."

Aliana is a 24-year-old model and influencer who starred in the music video for Liam's song 'Familiar'.

A source close to Liam told the MailOnline, the pair did end their relationship a month ago and that "Maya’s comments referring to Liam as her fiancé are untrue and very misleading."

Liam's representatives confirmed the singer had parted ways from Maya.

During an interview with People, Liam admitted that the pair had been "though a lot" in lockdown, but had worked things out.

"I think we went through a lot in COVID. I feel like we've come out the other side of it a bit stronger.

"Most couples who have been married for years struggled, right? So, I mean, we're still really happy to be here together today."

Liam and Maya then got back together in July last year, just a month after calling off their engagement.
