Liverpool fans are in for a nostalgic treat after it was confirmed Maxi Rodriguez will soon be returning to Anfield to turn out for the Reds' Legends side against Barcelona.
The 41-year-old former Argentina international, who only retired from professional football last year, enjoyed a two and a half year spell on Merseyside, making 73 appearances and scoring 17 goals.
And now the Kop favourite will turn out in front of supporters once again when Liverpool welcome a team of former Barca stars to Anfield on Saturday, March 26 for an LFC Foundation legends charity match.

The 2012 League Cup winner, who scored two hat-tricks during his time at the club, will join the likes of Patrik Berger, Luis Garcia, Dirk Kuyt and Steve McManaman when the Reds face off against some of the Spanish club's biggest names of the past.
Proceeds from the match - which is presented by AXA in association with the official LFC former players association, Forever Reds - will benefit a range of charitable causes including LFC Foundation, the Barça Foundation, Forever Reds and the Owen McVeigh Foundation.
