Max Wober believes 'mistakes' proved costly in Leeds United's defeat to Fulham but has urged the club to remain 'positive' ahead of the midweek clash with relegation rivals Leicester City. The Whites were poor once again and suffered a third consecutive Premier League defeat with a 2-1 loss at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
Wober returned to the starting eleven following a hamstring injury as part of a defensive reshuffle, with Javi Gracia's side conceding 11 times in home defeats to Crystal Palace and Liverpool. The Austrian international partnered Liam Cooper in defence, and the visitors delivered a more assured display at the back.
However, United struggled to pose a threat before second-half goals from Andreas Pereira and Harry Wilson put Fulham in control. Joao Palhinha's own goal gave Leeds hope of salvaging a point, but the Whites left the capital empty-handed ahead of a crunch clash at Leicester.

Reflecting on the defeat, Wober told BT Sport: "It was a difficult game for us. I think it was a 50/50 game, whoever scored the first goal was going to win it and unfortunately Fulham scored first. We're very disappointed.
"When we made mistakes in the midfield and with their counter-attacks, they were really fast and aggressive. They scored two goals from our own mistakes, but there is no time to let out heads down. Tuesday is a big game for us, six points against Leicester, and we're going to stay positive.
When asked about an improved defensive display from the Whites, Wober added: "We worked the whole week on that, the last two games we conceded 11 goals and that was our main focus, to improve upon that. I think we felt more compact in defence, but if we don't win games and get points, it doesn't really matter."
