Max Verstappen believes Formula 1’s new power units have taken so much away from the driving challenge that performing to a high level has become somewhat effortless.
Verstappen has been perhaps the most vocal critic of F1’s new machinery, which he described as “Formula E on steroids” early on, due to the very different driving style induced by the required energy management.
