Mauricio Pochettino seems to already have a ready-made replacement for Mason Mount if he leaves Chelsea this summer. The England international is entering the final 12 months of his current deal at Stamford Bridge with talks over a renewal proving unsuccessful so far.
Manchester United are now leading the race to sign the Chelsea star this summer with reports stating Old Trafford is his preferred destination. However, Cesare Casadei is proving he may be ready to replace Mount in the team as he currently leads the way as top goal scorer at the Under-20 World Cup with six goals after helping Italy progress into the semi-finals.
The Italian playmaker has impressed for Chelsea's under-21s since completing a £16million transfer to Stamford Bridge from Inter Milan. Casadei could be joined by Blues' team-mate Gabriel Slonina in the last four of the tournament with USA set to face Uruguay this evening.
