Mauricio Pochettino must do whatever it takes to block the departure of Lewis Hall. The 18-year-old has been briefly linked with an exit from Chelsea this summer following his impressive performances in the absence of Ben Chilwell and Marc Cucurella.
Hall, who sees his contract at Stamford Bridge expiring in 2025, featured nine times for the Blues in the Premier League this season, filling in excellently at left-back despite being a midfielder by trade. The England youth international was thrown in at the deep end on numerous occasions, testing himself against each of the top three and Liverpool.
And, it seems as if his efforts have caught the attention of some top clubs – namely Crystal Palace, who are reportedly lining up the appointment of Graham Potter. According to the Daily Mail, the Eagles are exploring the possibility of taking Hall on loan next term.
