Mauricio Pochettino has clarified a previous claim suggesting both he and Kylian Mbappe will be staying at Paris Saint-Germain next season, insisting this is not the case.
The former Tottenham Hotspur boss recently guided PSG to the league title, though has come under intense scrutiny after exiting the Champions League in remarkable fashion at the hands of Real Madrid. Despite being 2-0 up on aggregate against Los Blancos at the Round of 16 stage with only 30 minutes remaining in the second leg, Carlo Ancelotti's side responded with a Karim Benzema hat-trick in the space of 17 minutes to send PSG packing.
A number of managers have tried and failed to deliver the one trophy the French side remain in search of, with Pochettino the latest to face significant criticism after exiting Europe's elite competition. Unable to deliver success on the highest level, the Argentine coach is reportedly at risk of losing his position at the club.

Pochettino is not the only individual to have been linked with an exit from PSG, however, with Mbappe continuing to be linked with Real Madrid after deciding against signing a contract extension in the French capital. The 23-year-old, who has emerged as a possible target for Liverpool in the past, is now expected to move to Madrid in the summer upon the expiration of his current deal.
Asked of the likelihood of him and Mbappe being at Parc des Princes next season, Pochettino recently said: "100% in both cases. That is how I feel today. That is what I can say to you today. I can't say anything else. That is how I feel right now. This is football and we never know what might happen. But I have to answer the question based on how I feel today. And that is what I have done."
The PSG boss has now set the record straight on these comments when speaking to Amazon Prime France. “I said me and Mbappe will 100% stay at PSG next season? No… I was talking about the present," stated the 50-year-old.
