Mauricio Pochettino was confirmed as Chelsea's new manager on Monday afternoon. The Argentine signed a two-year contract, with the option of a further year, as he prepares to officially start his new role on July 1.
Todd Boehly and co. are keen to support Pochettino and create the best working environment possible for the 51-year-old to be successful. The Blues have seen plenty of changes to their backroom staff and hierarchy in the last 12 months after Petr Cech and Marina Granovskaia left the club following Boehly's arrival at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea will be hoping for a more stable and successful season under Pochettino despite a number of senior players at risk of being sold given the current size of the squad. football.london understands Christopher Nkunku is set to become the Blues' first signing of the summer transfer window after he signed a pre-contract agreement with the club last year.
