Matthew Stafford’s job every week is to distribute the ball to his playmakers, keep the chains moving and put points on the board.
Oh, and to avoid getting tackled.
His daughter reminded him of that last part before kickoff on Sunday, sharing a very important piece of advice before he took the field to face the Washington Commanders. NFL Films captured the adorable moment between Stafford and his youngest daughter, who told him to “have a good game” and “don’t get tackled.”
Stafford has done a good job dodging hits all season, but on Sunday, he was sacked three times and tackled once more on a scramble. His little one probably wasn’t too pleased.
