Matthew Perry's parents attended the sentencing of Jasveen Sangha, one of five individuals federally charged in the actor's ketamine-related death.
Sangha, known as the “Ketamine Queen,” pleaded guilty to five federal charges, including distribution of ketamine resulting in death, and faces a recommended 15-year prison sentence.
Prosecutors described Sangha's actions as displaying “cold callousness” and noted she deleted text messages after Perry's death, which occurred from the “acute effects of ketamine” in October 2023.
Law enforcement found significant quantities of various drugs, including ketamine, methamphetamine, and MDMA, along with drug trafficking paraphernalia, during a search of Sangha's home.
Other individuals, including Perry's assistant Kenneth Iwamasa, Erik Fleming, and doctors Salvador Plasencia and Mark Chavez, have also faced charges or sentencing in connection with the case.
