New England Patriots linebacker Matthew Judon isn’t closing the door on a possible return.
“Just got outta surgery. Imma be back,” said Judon, in an Instagram story post.
Buy Patriots TicketsThe four-time Pro Bowler is hopeful for a 2023 return after suffering a tear in his biceps tendon. There are expectations that he could miss a minimum of two months, while the worst case scenario is it potentially being a season-ending injury.
There should be more information that comes out regarding Judon’s rehab process and how long it could take before he’s ready to suit up again.
While he’s gone, the Patriots will have to figure out how to fill the void with their most dominant defensive player on the shelf for an extended period of time. Things get even scarier considering the Patriots have the league’s hardest schedule.

It’ll take a team effort to fill the role of one of the few players on the roster that truly can’t be replaced.
