Things got heated in the Virgin Media studios as a Nic White concussion debate rumbled on after Ireland's victory over Australia.
The Australian scrum half appeared to stumble after two noteworthy incidents where he hit his head during play.
White was assessed by an independent doctor but appeared to stumble yet was allowed to continue.
By World Rugby rules, White should have immediately and permanently removed from the game.
And things got heated in Virgin Media Studios.
Former Ireland full back Rob Kearney did not believe White should have ever returned to the field of play.
He said: "For me that is pretty uncomfortable viewing. There is so much talk of concussion in our game. We're watching documentaries and hearing of legal court cases.
"I have had a few concussions in my career and sometimes wonder am I going to be okay in five or 10 years time.
"I look at an image like that and it's tough to watch.
"For me there is no way he should be returning to the field of play.
But Matt Williams disagreed.
"I totally disagree. We're not doctors. He goes off to an independent doctor.
"There could be 101 reasons why he stumbles, he's just been smashed. It's not our place to judge, it is a medical decision. Climate change he trust the science, medical science we trust the science.
"He goes in and doctors with protocols allow him to go back on.
"I trust the medical science."
And host Joe Molloy took exception to Matt Williams' opinion as he brought up a Jeremy Loughman incident from earlier in the year that put HIA protocols into the spotlight.
"There as an investigation and World Rugby and New Zealand rugby were hands up that shouldn't have happened.
"The reason being is the HIA is not perfect. You can have symptoms of concussion show up 24, 48 hours after..
"Certain instances like this one World Rugby says air on the side of caution.
"It's open and shut I think and real questions have to be asked."
And WIlliams responded: "This is not the major talking point from this game, journalists love this stuff."
Which Molloy responded: "It is Matt, this is the talking point. World Rugby are clear, he shouldn't have."
And Williams said: "The doctors are the science, The Independent medical practitioners they might have got it wrong but we've got to trust the doctors.
"I just say to everyone lets trust the science."
Joe Molloy continued to cite World Rugby rules and said: "In fairness the whole stadium saw it, it was on a live feed so I don't know how they wouldn't have seen the stumble."
