After a successful 15-year career in the NFL, quarterback Matt Ryan officially announced his retirement on Monday. Ryan, who spent nearly his entire career with the Atlanta Falcons, signed a one-day contract with the team to close this chapter of his football journey.

During his time in the league, Ryan amassed impressive statistics, throwing for 62,792 yards and 381 touchdowns. He quickly became a prominent figure for the Falcons, leading them to multiple playoff appearances and earning the league MVP award in 2016.
