Cheeky Matt O'Riley has wound up Celtic teammate Stephen Welsh as the Parkhead centre-back lapped up scoring the first goal of the season for the Scottish champions.
The centre-back's third minute header got Ange Postecoglou's men off to the perfect start in Glasgow's east end as they unfurled the league title flag in front of a packed Celtic Park against Aberdeen, as he met O'Riley's cross. Jim Goodwin's side struggled to contain last season's Double winners as Jota fired in a sensational strike from distance that Dons keeper Kelle Roos could do very little about.
Welsh took to Instagram after the game to post a photograph of himself celebrating alongside the message: "Good win and performance. Some atmosphere today". However, O'Riley was quick to take a slice of the credit after his assist with the Danish under 21 cap delivering a hilarious quip on social media as he teammates joined in with the plaudits.
He fired back: "That meat head's an easy target!" Welsh jokingly added: "On a plate".
Joe Hart and Mikey Johnston were among those to congratulate their Celtic on his goal. The Scotland U21 started ahead of injury-hit Carl Starfelt, new recruit Mortiz Jenz and Christopher Jullien, who was missing from the squad.
