Matt LeBlanc looks worlds away from Joey fame as he goes incognito with stubble in LA

Matt LeBlanc looks like he doesn't want to be recognised as he stepped out with stubble to do some shopping.

The Friends star, 54, was spotted grabbing some bits in Sherman Oaks, California, sporting some stubble.

He wore baggy pants and a motoring t-shirt as he kept his head down with shades on Friday afternoon.

Matt also wore a baseball cap and trainers as he made a rare public appearance.

Looking laid back, the actor - Joey Tribbiani on the massively popular show - kept it casual as he hit the shops.

The rare sighting comes as fans' expressed their concern for one of his co-stars.

Matthew Perry, Chandler Bing in Friends, has struggled openly with addiction in the past.

But he has recently announced he is bringing out a new book, which will feature his highs and lows.

He teased the launch of the tell-all memoir, posting a photo of the cover along with the release date: "11. 1. 22."

He wrote: "So much has been written about me in the past. I thought it was time people heard from me.

"The highs were high, the lows were low. But I have lived to tell the tale, even though at times it looked like I wouldn’t.

"And it’s all in here. I apologize it’s not a pop up book."

Matt and Matthew attended the Friends reunion, which aired in 2021.

Matt became somewhat of an internet sensation after - and he saw the funny side of it.

Twitter pointed out his resemblance to pretty much every middle-aged dad we know and the telly favourite became an instant meme.

Fans loved the middle-aged dad vibes and Matt had a giggle too.

Fellow actor and friend Stephen Mangan told Ray Darcy on RTÉ that the star found it funny.

He told the show: "Some of the stuff people were coming up with was absolutely priceless. I'm not sure Matt really understands what was happening!

"Obviously, he is Italian, but he saw the funny side of it. He's got a good sense of humour."
