I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here returned to our screens tonight but Matt Hancock was nowhere to be seen.
It had been confirmed last week that the politician would be entering the Australian jungle to join other celebrity campmates. Ant and Dec returned as hosts as the show kicked off at 9pm this evening and they welcomed many famous faces.
Other confirmed celebrities were seen on screen including Boy George, Sue Cleaver, Owen Warner, Scarlette Douglas, Mike Tindall, Charlene White, Chris Moyles, Jill Scott, Babatúndé Aléshé and Olivia Attwood. But it seems fans of the ITV show would need to wait longer to watch Matt squirm and squeal at the challenges that await him.

Fans questioned his whereabouts on Twitter as they couldn't wait to see him tormented in the jungle. One user said: "Now where is Matt Hancock??? #ImACeleb".
Another added: "Where’s Matt Hancock? I want to see him picked for all the challenges #ImACeleb". A third said: "Where’s Matt Hancock? I want to see him cry #ImACeleb."
At the start of the show, Ant and Dec cleared up the confusion as they confirmed Matt will be one of the two celebrities to head into the jungle at a later date. It is not out of the ordinary as every year on the programme there is usually some late arrivals.
Matt's spokesperson has confirmed he will be entering the jungle at some point, and will also be donating his fee to charity - although it is unsure when.
The spokesperson said: "Matt will be making a donation to St Nicholas Hospice in Suffolk and causes supporting dyslexia off the back of his appearance. He will also declare the amount he receives from the show to Parliament to ensure complete transparency, as normal. This is an amazing opportunity to engage with the public and talk about issues he really cares about - including his dyslexia campaign.
"Matt is still working on constituency matters and will continue to do so up until he goes into the jungle. Producers have agreed that Matt can communicate with his team throughout the show if there's an urgent constituency matter."
