There's a lot of time to fill with random chats in the I'm a Celebrity camp and in the latest episode, on November 24, the remaining campmates were discussing which celebrities and famous people they'd invite to their dinner party. The only rule was of the three invitees, one would be dead, one alive and one fictional.
And for one campmate, serving MP and former health secretary Matt Hancock, there seemed to be confusion over his 'fictional' character. The Oxford and Cambridge graduate wanted to pick Pocahontas.
While she may be the title character in the 1995 Disney film, Pocahontas was actually a real person, the daughter of a ruler of the Native American Algonquian-speaking tribes. Born in the late 16th century, there is much debate around the true story of the Native American woman's relationship with English settlers in the Jamestown settlement and her marriage to Englishman Captain John Smith. Either way, Pocahontas was a real person.

On the show, Matt was seen making his choices, which included having Marilyn Monroe as his naked chef: “Dead person, I’d have JFK, absolutely fascinating and apparently one of the most charming people who has ever lived.”
Seann said: “You could ask him who he thought shot him.” Matt replied: “I think if someone’s dead, asking them about who killed them is probably a bit of a morbid conversation. I want to say Kevin Keegan. I’ve never met him. Fictional character Pocahontas. Apparently, she wasn’t fictional so I couldn’t have her…” Shaun laughed and said: "Did everyone think the Disney character?"
He then carried on laughing about it in the Bush Telegraph: “Pocahontas! Matt you can have anyone… doesn’t have to be a drawing… Pocahontas. I think we’re really getting to know the full Matt Hancock in here.”
Jill's choices were: “Joey from Friends, Princess Diana and Roy Keane." She went on to explain why: "Princess Diana just such an inspirational woman, I just want to hear the whole story. And then can I have the naked chef David Beckham."
Elsewhere in the latest episode Owen and Chris only got one star in the trial, Savage Sorting Office.
