Viewers tuning in to BBC One on Saturday night wishing to see the highlights of Premier League matches will be disappointed with the show moved due to the Eurovision Song Contest.
The yearly singing competition, also immensely popular but not involving Erling Haaland, Mikel Arteta or Joelinton, is taking place in Liverpool on Saturday, the first time it has been on UK shores since 1998. It has meant that Match of the Day has had to make way, being moved across to BBC Two, instead.
The goals, reaction and latest Premier League coverage will also start earlier, kicking off at 10pm instead of its slot around 10:30pm as is standard. Nevertheless, catching up on games including Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest, Manchester United vs Wolves and Aston Villa vs Tottenham will still be on air.

Arsenal fans will be waiting nervously for Sunday's fixtures instead as they take on Brighton at the Emirates Stadium in the evening, kicking off at 4:30pm. Before that, league leaders Manchester City are aiming to put themselves within two wins of the title as they play Everton at Goodison Park.
Highlights of Sunday's action will be available on Match of the Day 2. Meanwhile, attention for entertainment lovers will be on Merseyside as Eurovision starts at 8pm, expected to go on past midnight in England. Mae Muller is representing the UK with 'I wrote A Song' but is adrift of the favourites to win.
The current holders are Ukraine, who would usually be expected to host the event but are unable to due the ongoing invasion by Russia. The UK finished second last time out and have taken on that honour for 2023.
There is also set to be some Premier League representation on the show with former Liverpool defender Ragnar Klavan selected as the Estonian spokesperson for their points. Former Doctor Who star Catherine Tate will be doing that job for the UK.
