A Matalan mini dress is receiving rave reviews online with shoppers calling it "lovely" and flattering".
The high street retailer has amassed a devoted fanbase thanks to its vast array of consistently stylish clothing, homeware and accessories. With spring now firmly on the horizon, customers are clearly planning ahead and ordering some wardrobe staples for the warmer weather.
And one item has certainly got customers talking.

Matalan's Black Floral Bardot Mini Dress is on sale in stores and online for £12.50. The garment has an average review of 4.77 out of five stars on Matalan's website.
One happy customer said: "A beautiful little dress, lovely fit and easy to just pull on over your head. Ideal for summer and taking on your holidays, nice and cool and lightweight so great for packing into your suitcase and doesn't crease", while a second said: "I struggle to find dresses that are not too clingy and ones that fit well.
"[But there is] plenty of room in this dress to cover your bumps. Very pleased with this dress".
A third said: "Dress is gorgeous, washes well and is very flattering." A fourth said: "Really nice good quality dress. True to size and perfect length. Lovely for the summer and such a reasonable price", however the one one-star review said the dress was not suitable as she is 5'3 and the dress was too long for her.
A similar black floral mini dress is currently on sale for £28 at Next, while another is currently available from John Lewis for £55.
