The Masters kick-started on Thursday in near-perfect conditions at Augusta, Georgia with the first major of the year underway.

There is a three way tie for the lead with Jon Rahm and Viktor Hovland shooting seven under par alongside former world number one Brooks Koepka.

And Shane Lowry was the best of the Irish with a four-under par round.
