Shocking footage has emerged of a mass brawl erupting between youth players at a Scottish Cup tie.
The rammy broke out at Greenfaulds High School in Cumbernauld on Saturday, November 26. Images from the incident show youths from opposing teams at Edinburgh Portobello and Bellshill clashing with one another on the pitch as stunned fans watched on in horror.
Players from both sides were filmed trading punches and kicks during the violence, which took place during the game. The referee was understood to be furiously blowing his whistle as he tried to calm tensions but players from both sides were unable to be separated as pandemonium unfolded.
