Manchester United are confident a deal for Mason Mount will be done, according to reports.
The England international is out of contract with the Blues in 2024 and is yet to negotiate fresh terms. United have reportedly emerged as the favourites to land Mount, and he's said to be keen on a move to Old Trafford.
However, The Independent report that Chelsea will refuse to let him leave for anything less than £55million - a potential obstacle for United. It is claimed that Mount would be willing to sign for United and that Ten Hag's men believe a deal will eventually be done.

On the Harry Kane front, it's being reported by the Daily Mail that United believe they can lure the Tottenham Hotspur striker to Old Trafford for £100million this summer. The England captain has one year left on his contract and the Manchester Evening News understand he is United's primary target, though they are exploring alternative options should Daniel Levy once again dig his heels in over a deal.
United want to sign a world-class centre-forward in the upcoming transfer window and have identified Kane and Napoli's Victor Osimhen as their main targets.
They are also monitoring Goncalo Ramos, Mohammed Kudus, Rasmus Hojlund and Randal Kolo Muani.
