Chelsea star Mason Mount has reportedly started dating an American model.
Mount is currently a busy man, with Manchester United chasing his signature in the summer transfer window. The 24-year-old midfielder could be on the move in the coming weeks and that isn’t the only exciting thing in his life at the moment.
The Sun says Mount is in a relationship with American model Claire Grossman and the couple have recently been away on holiday together to the Greek island of Hydra. He had previously been dating model Chloe Wealleans-Watts between 2017 and 2022.
Mount has managed to move on from Orla Melissa Sloan, who was recently spared jail for stalking the midfielder and his Chelsea team-mates Ben Chilwell and Billy Gilmour. A court heard that Sloan, who dubbed herself ‘Devil Baby’ on social media, had used 21 phone numbers to stalk Mount for four months last year after they slept together.
After a trial at Westminster Magistrates Court, she was handed a 12-week suspended jail sentence, a 30-day rehabilitation order, 200 hours of unpaid work, a total of £1100 in compensation to be paid to the Chelsea stars, £85 costs and a £154 victim surcharge.
Prosecutor Jason Seetal told an earlier hearing the pair remained in contact for around six months after they met at a party in November 2020 until Mount “decided that the relationship was not going to progress”.
He said: “Upon informing Miss Sloan of this, he has been subjected to a bombardment of messages. He began asking her to stop messaging him before blocking the number. He then began to receive messages from new numbers and each time he would block those numbers, there would be messages from a different number.”
Speaking to The Mail on Sunday, Sloan said: “The online world is so removed from the real world.
“You don't have the same sense of perspective because you're just in your bedroom, on your phone. It doesn't feel the same but, in reality, people are watching what you're doing and it's affecting their lives. What I did was wrong. I regret sending all those messages, hurting those people and their families.”
It remains unclear where Mount will be playing his football next season. Despite having just one year left on his contract, Chelsea are playing hardball in negotiations with United for the England international.
United have now submitted three offers for Mount which have risen to £55million. But the Blues value him at £65m, a price which United aren't willing to pay after seeing their final bid rejected.
Old Trafford chiefs could therefore move on to other targets, leaving the midfielder at Chelsea, where he would play under new manager Mauricio Pochettino next season.
