Masked Singer's Fawn identity 'exposed' ahead of final as soap star posts singing video

The latest series of the Masked Singer will conclude with its final this weekend and some viewers are still convinced that they already know who's behind the Fawn mask.

The character is among the three finalists on the ITV show, alongside Phoenix and Rhino. They will be unmasked on Saturday night's episode and a winner will be crowned.

There has been much speculation about the identity of the celebrity underneath the Fawn disguise. This has included some viewers suspecting that it's Kym Marsh, 46.

The actor and singer may have fuelled some of that speculation with a recent video that shows her singing with her eldest daughter Emilie Cunliffe, 25.

Kym and Emilie recently travelled to the US together to work on the latter's debut album. Kym shared photos from their trip to Nashville with her fans on Instagram.

This included the former Coronation Street star sharing footage of her and Emilie singing Someone Like You by Adele, 34, whilst at Sound Kitchen Studios in the city.

She wrote alongside the video: "Such a pleasure to have a little sing song with my baby [Emilie]. I cannot wait for you to hear her debut album, recorded in Nashville".

The footage prompted much praise, with fans describing their vocals as "incredible" and "beautiful". Some fans even commented that they had "goosebumps" over such.

It also led some fans to mention the Masked Singer in the comments section. Some responded to the video by saying that Kym is behind the Fawn mask on the show.

One person responded to the video: "Both amazing singers. I have thought that [Kym] is 100% Fawn from the Masked Singer since the first show. Will find out on Saturday".

Another person wrote: "She is Fawn from [Masked Singer UK]." Their comment attracted a couple of likes. Whilst another person said: "Me thinks you are Fawn on Masked Singer".

Fans have speculated that Fawn's voice sounds like Kym and there has been a reference to hearsay, potentially a nod to her having been in group Hear'Say earlier in her career.

It's however been noted that Kym was likely on Strictly Come Dancing when filming for the Masked Singer took place, as both were filmed towards the end of last year.

Kym isn't the only celebrity rumoured to be underneath the Fawn disguise on the Masked Singer. A number of viewers are instead convinced that it's Natalie Appleton, 49.

Viewers have noted that several clues fit Natalie and her sister Nicole Appleton, who were in All Saints (WireImage)

A variety of the clues for Fawn seem to fit Natalie and her younger sister Nicole Appleton, 48, who are both best known for having been members of the group All Saints.

This has included a necklace that read 'Sandy' which has been interpreted as a nod to their song Pure Shores featuring on the soundtrack of the 2000 film the Beach.

Fans have also interpreted other clues as referencing their song Black Coffee and the group winning two Brit Awards in 1998, for example. There was also a reference to November 1, which some fans have noted is actually All Saints' Day.

The Masked Singer continues with its final tomorrow night (February 18) on ITV and ITVX from 7pm.
