Police are investigating a suspected 4am arson attack on a car in Oldham. Three masked men are said to have torched the vehicle on Ripponden Road during the early hours of today (Saturday).
Officers were called to reports that three masked men set fire to the car - the blaze was extinguished quickly but it suffered extensive damage, according to Greater Manchester Police (GMP).
Detectives have now appealed to the public to come forward with any information.

Appealing to the public for information, GMP today provided brief details of the incident, confirming officers were called to the scene about 4am on Saturday.
"Enquiries are ongoing and detectives are currently treating the fire as arson," said the force.
Chief Inspector Abigail Cronin, of GMP's neighbourhood partnership in Oldham, said: “This was a shocking incident which put members of the public at risk.
"Thankfully no one was badly injured, and the incident appears to have been isolated. Such reckless behaviour however will absolutely not be tolerated, and we are committed to finding those responsible.
