Sinn Fein leader Mary Lou McDonald has complained of a two hour wait for her bags after she landed at Dublin Airport.
The Dublin Central TD was flying back from San Francisco today with Aer Lingus after attending a number of engagements in the US last week. However, upon landing she faced a lengthy wait for her luggage, as many passengers have done this summer.
Ms McDonald said on Twitter at 4:30pm: "Two hours landed in Dublin from San Francisco and still no bags. @AerLingus". She has not updated her followers on whether or not she got her luggage.

Earlier, Ms McDonald thanked those who attended her events in the US last week, writing: "Thank you San Francisco for such a warm welcome. Support for Ireland is so strong. We are proud of the immense contribution of the Irish to California. The opportunity to come home, for those who want to, must now be built by a progressive Irish govt. We will work hard for that"
Dublin Live has contacted Aer Lingus for comment.
