Mary Byrne has revealed she was almost married twice – but is now casually dating someone new.
The former X Factor star opened up about her love life, saying she would like to meet a man who owns his own home, while she could continue living in her house.
The Ballyfermot singer told how she was almost married twice but called off both engagements.
The 63-year-old said: "I nearly got married twice and I walked away from it, so it was never for me.

"My ideal partner is someone who makes me laugh and respects and cares for me.
"Someone that I can travel with and go for a meal with, and we could have a bit of nookie-wookie every so often."
Mary reveals she met a man from Cork during lockdown and is still casually seeing him.
"I met a gentleman during lockdown and he’s from Cork.
"We talk a lot and we’ve been together a few times, but the distance is too awkward for both of us.
"He travels a lot but when we do get together, it’s fun. He’s kind and gentle and he’s a funny man who makes me laugh.
"If that doesn’t work out, I’d like to meet someone like him, but I kind of hope it works out," she told Woman’s Way magazine.
The former Tesco worker said if she did find true love with someone, she wouldn’t like to live with him.
She admitted she would only live with her daughter Deborah, who she says, "is the most super thing in my life and she has my back 24/7."
Mary also opened up about losing her virginity in a graveyard when she was 18 years old to a guy who was six years older than her. They had been dating for a year.
"The only place nearby was an old graveyard and there was a full moon shining, and it was a beautiful night, although it was pretty cold.
"And then it happened, and I remember lying there and thinking ‘is this it?’
"All of my friends were saying it was great, and I was lying there thinking they were all liars.
"I was scared and unsure of what I was doing, and it was a surreal sensation for me, mentally and physically.
"It was quite painful, and although I enjoyed the kissing and cuddling afterwards, I didn’t feel anything during the act itself.
"We stayed together for four years and I’m glad to say that the sex got better after that," she added.
