Marvin Harrison Jr. out of concussion protocol, will play Monday night

Arizona Cardinals rookie wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. will not miss the team’s Monday night game against the L.A. Chargers. Head coach Jonathan Gannon announced before Saturday’s practice that Harrison cleared concussion protocol and will play on Monday night.

Harrison suffered a concussion last Sunday in the team’s loss to the Green Bay Packers. By the time the Cardinals started practicing for Week 7 on Thursday, he was already getting limited work.

He was a full participant in practice on Friday and was set to have a full practice on Saturday, the Cardinals’ final practice before they play the Chargers.

Harrison has 17 receptions for 279 yards and four touchdowns so far this season through six games.

The Cardinals and Chargers kick off Monday night at 6 p.m. Arizona time.
