Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is being developed by Arc System Works and published by PlayStation Publishing and is a collaboration between the studio, PlayStation, and Marvel Games. The game is kind-of-but-not-really positioned as the spiritual successor to the Marvel vs. Capcom tag fighter series.
Additionally, the page reveals the inclusion of a single-player mode with episodic storytelling. It’s intended to dig into individual teams and how they function, which suggests the game’s roster will be grouped into themed squads and not just standalone picks.
