New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki is all set to roll out the much-awaited new-generation Vitara Brezza in India by June-end in a new avatar. According to reports, the automaker will drop the prefix 'Vitara' and name it 'Maruti Suzuki Brezza'.
The new SUV will retain its sub-4m footprint, but it’ll bear an all-new design, updated powertrains, and a slew of new equipment and safety features.
The design of the new Brezza can see a lot of changes, which will be more attractive than the current model. The top of the car will be a chunky glossy black grille with chrome inserts, DRLs.
Besides it will be powered by Maruti’s latest K15C petrol engine with a new 6-speed automatic option. A head-up display and ventilated seats may be offered as well.
Safety features may include a 360-degree camera, TPMS, 6 airbags and ISOFIX child seat mounts. Along with this, the car gets dual-tone bumpers with integrated twin pod LED headlamps, faux silver skid plates and LED fog lamps.
Select Maruti Suzuki Arena dealers have started accepting pre-bookings for the new Brezza SUV at an initial sum of Rs.5,000. The new model is likely to be priced premium over the existing version that costs between Rs 7.84 lakh – Rs 11.49 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.
