Maruti Suzuki has launched its 2022 Brezza compact SUV, with prices starting at ₹ 7.99 lakh for the base LXi trim and going up to ₹ 13.96 lakh for the top-spec ZXI+ AT variant (all prices ex-showroom, India). The new Brezza will continue to be retailed via Maruti Suzuki Arena dealerships and bookings are already underway, with deliveries expected to begin soon.
The new Brezza will also be offered under Maruti’s subscription scheme, with monthly fees starting at ₹ 18,300 (includes vehicle registration, maintenance, insurance and road side assistance).
At ₹ 7.99 lakh, the starting price of the Brezza has gone up by ₹ 15,000 over its predecessor, but importantly, the top-spec ZXi+ AT variant is over ₹ 2.5 lakh more expensive than the outgoing model. The Brezza ZX+ AT DT is priced at ₹ 13.96 lakh, which is also higher than top-end versions of all of its petrol-powered rivals, including the Sonet (₹ 13.19 lakh), the recently updated Venue (₹ 12.57 lakh), the popular Nexon (₹ 12.39 lakh) and even the XUV300 (₹ 13.06 lakh).
