Martine MCcutcheon is renewing her wedding vows after her first big day involved a 'terrifying' run-in with the mafia.
The ex-EastEnders actress, 46, got hitched to Jack McManus in Lake Como in 2012.
But things didn't quite go to plan.
The couple told the Chris and Rosie Ramsey show that the mafia demanded money on their big day - in a "scary exchange".
Jack said: “We were like, ‘We’d love fireworks’ and they were like, ‘Yeah, you need to make a donation to the lake’. It’s a donation, like to the mafia. We had to pay them so many hidden costs. This wasn’t hundreds, it was thousands.
“The very last one and complete p**s take was on the day, they found out that we were going to put these pictures in a magazine, so they said, ‘You’re going to need to make a donation to the lake’. We just said no.”
Martine added: “I went, ‘Oh my god, there’s going to be a dead horse’s head in our bed!’. I was petrified. I was like, ‘Don’t stand your ground now, Jack please be quiet’. But he wouldn’t make another donation.”
Thankfully that was the end of it.
The father-of-one explained: "They sort of let us off because we didn’t have to pay a donation for the magazine. It was all very scary and tense.”
The happy couple are proud parents to son Rafferty, seven.
The actress explained she wanted to renew her vows because she feels sad her son wasn't at their wedding and because it would be "really lovely to do".
As to where the ceremony will take place, Martine and Jack look set be avoid Italy and instead plump for France.
"It’ll probably just be me, Jack and Rafferty and maybe a couple of friends… oh god, mum’s going to find out now,” Martine joked.
The star recently teased she was filming something "huge" as she posed up a storm with her hubby on Instagram.
Looking stunning sporting a pair of cropped jeans and sleek, chocolate bob, she posted: ""I'm filming something HUGE - I'm SO excited and have dragged my hubby @jackmcmanus1 along for the ride AGAIN!
"Sorry Baby! Being in front of the camera is not usually his comfortable place - He's used to being behind the scenes as a songwriter and producer (And my manager for his sins!). But he is actually looking forward to doing this!"
