Martine McCutcheon flaunts incredible weight loss and shares her secret to keeping it off

Former EastEnders star Martine McCutcheon has flaunted her impressive weight loss in slinky swimwear as she holidays in Italy.

The 47-year-old has been having a relaxing holiday with husband Jack McManus and their son Rafferty. Martine posed for the snap near the sea, wearing a chic straw hat and a striped swimming costume and in another snap, Martine stunned in a plisse lime green swimsuit.

The Love Actually actress has been open about her new found healthy eating habits, previously sharing that she makes sure she includes plenty of fruits and vegetables in her meals and avoids excessive consumption of dairy and red meat.

In the post, she said: "With every meal I make sure to have loads of fruit and veg, not too much dairy not too much red meat. When you're doing that daily, you're allowing yourself that little bit of space where you can have the freedom to still have a little bit of what you fancy."

In an interview with Closer magazine, Martine also discussed her exercise regime, she said: "I prefer to take a gentle 20-minute walk every day. Being surrounded by nature during my walks not only benefits me mentally but also helps alleviate symptoms of my ME and fibromyalgia."

In 2011, Martine was initially diagnosed with ME, also known as chronic fatigue syndrome, which is a long-term illness that presents various symptoms, including fatigue, muscle pain, and a sore throat.

In 2021, the former EastEnders star shared her insights on how the illness affects her, saying to Hello! magazine: "I perceive the appearance of symptoms or when my body starts signaling distress as a reminder for me to pace myself and rest. So, rather than seeing it as an obstacle, I've learned to view it as a valuable indicator."
