Arsenal take on Liverpool in a huge Premier League clash this afternoon with the Gunners firmly in the hunt for the title. Manchester City closed the gap down to five points with their dominant win against Southampton on Saturday evening leaving Mikel Arteta's men with the simple task of winning.
The league leaders certainly got off to the possible start when Gabriel Martinelli steered in from close-range after just eight minutes. Understandably, with Liverpool behind early on, anger began to emanate from the Anfield stands as Arsenal continued to dominate.
Martinelli was then involved in a moment which caused Sky Sports' lead commentator Martin Tyler to apologise on air. A long punt forward entered touch with Martinelli placed near the side of the pitch before he was shoved closer to the home supporters by Ibrahima Konate.

The Brazilian gestured towards referee Paul Tierney indicating he should have been awarded a free kick, a movement that angered one Liverpool fan. The pitch-side microphones picked up the expletive language directed at Martinelli.
Tyler very promptly apologise for the explicit language which would have been heard around thousands of households watching the major league clash. Gabriel Jesus then doubled the visitors' lead heading home a delightful cross from Martinelli, before Mohamed Salah pulled one back for the hosts before the break.
Tensions then boiled over just moments before half time with Tyler again forced to apologise with continuous swearing picked up on the microphones again.
