The cause of death of Martin Short’s daughter Katherine Hartley Short has been confirmed eight days after her passing.

The 42-year-old was found dead at her Hollywood Hills home last week following a welfare check by local authorities when a concerned friend reported not hearing from her for roughly 24 hours.
