Gavin Strachan has left Celtic to join West Bromwich Albion; both clubs have confirmed.
After six years, the 47-year-old has departed the Scottish Premiership champions, becoming a first-team coach at The Hawthorns under former player James Morrison.

Arriving at the club alongside fellow coach Tony McMahon, Morrison has praised his new coaching team. Speaking to club media, he said, “I’m delighted to add Gavin Strachan to the group.
"Having a new pair of eyes from somebody with Gavin’s experience will help us massively. He has worked alongside some top managers, like Martin O’Neill, Ange Postecoglou and Brendan Rodgers, and will no doubt bring fresh ideas with him.

Additionally, Martin O'Neill has thanked Strachan for his efforts at Celtic, with the pair working together across two spells last season.
