Martin Lewis warns millions to act now over £700 car finance compensation

Martin Lewis has issued an urgent update on the car finance redress scheme.

Millions who were mis-sold their car finance via undisclosed commission between April 2007 and November 2024 are potentially eligible to receive up to £700.

However, speaking on The Martin Lewis Money Show on Tuesday, 10 March, the MoneySavingExpert founder urged viewers who haven't complained yet to "complain!"

The financial regulator, the FCA, has confirmed it will likely launch the redress scheme at the end of March 2026. "There is no way for you to know if you were mis-sold without complaining," he said.
