Martin Lewis was praised as he issued an optimistic prediction on energy bills.
The finance guru returned to front another edition of Money Show Live tonight. Tuesday's episode tackled the subject of energy bills as Ofgem confirmed the price cap will be reduced from April by £1,000 to £3,300 for someone on typical use.
However, energy bills are still set to rise as the government is expected to lift the energy price guarantee. The government has previously subsided energy bills so people across the UK pay a maximum of £2,500.

Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has proposed to increase the energy price guarantee in April, which will mean energy bills will rise by 20%. Martin branded the proposed increased as "perverse" and has since campaigned to delay the rise until July when the price cap is expected to drop below the current price guarantee.
However, he may have panicked some viewers as he appeared to tell his ITV1 audience that the energy prices would indeed definitely be going up in April.
Martin said: "On Thursday the energy companies have to tell the pre-payment meter companies what their prices are gonna be. And they have not increased their prices in April.
"I also have other sources that tell me prices are not going up. And since I did that, The Times has reported sources in government saying prices are going up and the BBC has reported sources in government saying prices are going up."
Martin then added: "I would say my certainty..." and then he cut off his sentence to add: "Prices are NOT going up, sorry let me correct myself, prices are NOT going up in April."
Martin added: "What a slip up to say it is going up. Live telly everyone!"
Martin grilled Tory MP Grant Shapps on the proposed rise as he questioned the Secretary of State for the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero if the government was really going to put the prices up.
Mr Shapps remained tight-lipped as he said the government policy would be announced in Mr Hunt's Budget next week. However, Martin said, based on information he has received, that he is now hopeful the government will u-turn on its decision and energy bills will remain around the current price until July.
Martin grilled Mr Shapps on a variety of issues facing the energy sector and viewers following the show on Twitter praised the finance guru for holding Mr Shapps to account.
Mark said: "This is a proper ‘holding to account’ performance from Martin on the Money Show. The heat is properly (and fairly) on Grant Shapps"
Martin posted: "General takeaway: Martin could do a better job of Energy secretary than Grant Shapps."
Deanne commented: "Thank you for being a voice for those who need it and holding this Govt to account!"
Jeanie tweeted: "Martin Lewis is making mincemeat of Grant Shapps - yes!"
